Day 3: painT, a primeR

I had the profound privilege to be in a reading of an early draft of painT, a new screenplay by one of my favorite human beings Gregory Siff.

About this time last year, we explored the de la Vega museum next to Under St. Marks theater where we were doing a Shepard show. Greg has inspired me ever since.

He is not only one of the most talented painters I have ever met, he is an in credible actor and most importantly he has a wonderful soul.

This is my reflection on Greg’s script and his art.

Music: none

Other inspiration: Philosophizer Luke Rainey

Rating: ½ way between PG-13 and R

Genre: Art film, drama

Day 2: Make a Wish

I adore this story, the characters and hope you will too. Would love to hear from anyone interested in making this into a short and submitting to festivals.

Inspiration:  My cousin Becky and her sons Jack and Gabe.  They make my heart smile.

Music:  None.

Funny tidbit:  I kinda cried when I wrote the last page.

Rating: PG, Genre: Family, comedy

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

My amazing roommate Cheryl B. Engelhardt (on Twitter as @cbe) recorded Penelope’s lullaby for today’s script.  Check it out.  I love it!
